Today in class we have been learning about the (wheel of life or something). Yeah well during class everyone got a chance to make a wheel of things that you can't live without. So I listed down the things I wanted to write in my book, but I only had space for 6, so I choose mine carefully and decided to have Home, Food, Family, Music, Friends and Christmas.

Some drugs are good

Some drugs are bad   

Most people get addicted

That's when they get twisted.

When your life starts to rely on drugs

That’s when you have to pull the plug

But when your brain is still wrapped around it

That's when you will feel like you can’t live without it

When you take a drug you might love it too much

But when you have no drugs

That’s when you start to go crazy

And hate your family and get lazy

When your friends are addicted to Drugs

Help them in any way you can don't act like a thug

Because they've been bitten by the addiction bug

Never get addicted

Because you will become a victim

So think positive and never get addicted

Because it will ruin your whole body system!!

Kia ora and hello to you all……

I’m Valerie adams as you all know, But if you haven’t heard of me i’m actually an athlete that stands proud for my country.

I was born in 1984 the 6 of October, I currently live in New Zealand which I am proud to be in. The world record that I was truly proud of was the day I had scored 21.24 m towards the world record.

I also won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio with a distance of 20.42m behind a US athlete named Michelle Carter and I was the first women in the shot putt to win for consecutive individual titles at the world track and field championships.

Baking Pastry....

“YES” I whispered quietly to myself, Mrs Ramkolowan told us that we will do some baking. I was extremely thrilled my heart pumped up and down, Until she mentioned the ingredients “YUCK” I thought to myself so I shuffled back to my best friend, trying to explain to her if she tasted it before but there was no luck, then all of a sudden I feel my blood pressure drop straight down, my mouth was waiting for sugar to hit it but unfortunately we got brown sugar and it tasted disgusting “NO OFFENCE” I replied….

Once the pastry reached to my table I suddenly hear my teacher Mrs. Tuakoi say that we have to design the pastry to create anything we want and that's when I popped open saying to myself that I should actually make a apple turn over much more different to a jam turn over, so I started to roll my pastry out flat as paper until I got to the point and finished, then a few minutes later I grabbed an apple for Kuraia and I to share so I grabbed a knife and started to cut the apple in half until I came to the end, I suddenly gave one half to Kuraia and the other half to me, until I saw the half of my apple I looked at it and got depressed, But then Jenny ( The Mentor Of Reading ) asked me why I had a sad looking face on, until I looked at her and started to explain about my apple, But after she asked she replied back why a great example she ask if I wanted to cut that half into little bits of pieces for a solution and I said “WHAT A GREAT IDEA” so I rushed back to cut up the halved apple until I was done I quickly popped some slices into the pastry and covered the flat side with the other side.

Usually when I bake I love to decorate it’s the best part of baking to be honest decorating is a part of baking that you could use colours and all sorts of stuff, but all I did was write my name and thought that it was so boring I wanted to go back to learning, until i saw other students pastry and they look fantastic that I was so jealous of, but I was happy to participate.

MUM -

The moment I hear my mums voice I think of her, She makes me feel special in so many ways. Whenever I bring homework home she would always help me, when she screams at me I would always feel my eardrum explode.

When her cooking takes place my tummy is always eager for more, But when she doesn’t cook it would just be me and dad  cooking something in the microwave.  My mum is always creative in her cooking by that I mean so delicious I can’t explain it.

Mum is a special friend  to me.  Although she would always make me smile or cry it does not  matter, even if she screams at me I won’t care because I know she is doing it because she loves me with all her heart.

My mum is caring and kind, she tried her best to keep me happy. When she tells jokes I just could not stop laughing. She is a very funny lady.

Another thing about my mum is that whenever I’m feeling down or angry she will comfort me  and even let me cry out into her shoulder.

Whenever she would give me hugs it brings peace into my heart, but to appreciate her caring, love, help and support that I would have to thank her for all she has done for me, knowing that she would be me every single time.

Smell - Sweet, delight, cocoa powder

Taste  - Golden syrup, sugary, Milky, But not that sweet

See - Dark brown , Which is molded into a container which has patterns on the mold.

Feel - Soft with a delight feeling

Hear - In my mouth I could hear a sparkling noise in me.

The moment I scent the sweet delightful treat, I sat still just waiting for it to get near me. Once I took a piece my brain turned the other way while my mouth exploded with joy, as my taste buds made their way to the moon.

I couldn’t stop jumping up and down because I was to excited, the taste was like golden syrup but sugary and milky but it wasn’t really sweet. To me it felt soft and light but I could hear a sparkling noise just coming from my mouth that made it wanted more.

During Maths today our teacher gave us this math problem and we have to work in groups and discuss how to go about solving this problem which I think was a perfect idea. When I was trying to solve it , it was frustrating because it was difficult but Tuakana showed me how to work it out. I am looking forward to solve more problems next time.
