Creating and operating unknown shapes
For today's lesson my teacher Mrs. Tuakoi requested us to do some mathematics that was based on polygons and shapes and while she spoke she mentioned a site about creating and learning how shapes move in degrees which was quite interesing at first, but once I started on this particular site it felt boring and exhausting because there was alot of mouse work towards this site where you would have to complete lessons and achieve awards, believe this site is really amazing because it
creates new things that other sites may not have. SO TRY IT OUT!!!

Chocolate truffles :)
Today, as requested the year eights from room 7/havea were told to make some delicious chocolate truffles and as said Miss Heka (the cookery teacher) gave the ingredients with steps to do once we had got all the ingrediants we needed. Once the ingrediants and steps were all completed the chocolate truffles headed straight into the fridge and then it was done and I was so excited to decorate it that was the best moment of technolody.

#1 Paragraph
Arriving in a split second to a festival where all of a sudden my heart goes pumping and jumping all over the place with a large smile on its face, then from there I suddenly turn and see beautiful colours flashing while flaming balls flew which I had suggested were shootings stars but while approaching the atmosphere where the event took place, I catch a sudden scent of gunpowder with a taste of smoke added into it!!! but that didn’t really bother me at all. Because having to listen to cheering while the event of fireworks was in process actually made me satisfied and amazed on how the event turned out to eventually be.

Burning Newspaper
Name : Angel Class : 07 School : Glen Innes
Make a copy.
T4W3 : MONDAY
Burning Newspaper.
Ask a question
How would the newspaper react to the fire itself.
|
Construct a hypothesis( make a guess)
I think it would turn into ashes and form a type of chemical (GAS).
|
Conduct the experiment
Newspaper and Fire.
|
Record your observations and data colour change,
Newspaper and fire are currently two different things but once the two are combined the fire and newspaper react by creating one different substance (ASHES).
|
Analyse information
I confirmed and accepted my hypothesis to be accurate because I have seen the experience myself.
|
Report results
The current reaction between the newspaper and the fire caused a chemical reaction to combine something unexpected, when I was outside of class discovering the two in the experience I discovered the five things that happens when chemical changes occur and from that I learned more about the first three chemical reaction Gas production, Colour changes and Temperature changes that was formed in the chemical reaction in the scene.

Delicious Milkshake - Technology
On Monday, the year 7 and 8 group went to Tamaki College for technology, once we got there we were told to get into lines based on our year and age. As we proceed a teacher from cooking stood up to take us as her class. After she had took us we all ran through the basics of cooking and she also explained the way around the kitchen so we listened and then performed. As we went through the instructions we went onto cooking and therefore she had prepared the ingredients on how to make an Oreo chocolate milkshake which she explained was really basic to make, but at the end it was extremely delicious.
Reflection - I thought that this was a great experience and hoping I continue this learning progress.

Title : How to make the world a better place!!!
Introduction -
The world is a big place, but also known as a giant planet called Earth. To make it a better place we need to lower down our matter’s like for example Animals in danger.
Explanation -
1# Reason
All around the world there are different types of animals, but most of them are starting to extinct throughout a load of years. “Why” well because people are starting to hunt them down or their habitats or homes are being demolished and destroyed.
2# Reason
Another reason is to stop pollution in the sea water and air. So now in days a lot of cars are being produced, but mainly for the future and I get that but it would still leave us and other creatures in danger too.
3# Reason
The ocean is another big place that is filled with wonderful sea creatures, but did you know that they are in danger. Because years ago people started to ship oil to different countries, What they don’t know is that once the ship is in big trouble it sinks and loads of oil starts to come out and while it proceeds coming out it suddenly starts to pollute the area in the ocean which leaves the wonderful creatures nothing at all but polluted water.
Conclusion -
If you care about your environment or the area you live or stay in, then think about how you can change everything for not only you but anyone around you. So think positive and stop pollution.
