Kia ora Angel and welcome the Winter Learning Journey blogging programme! I am so exciting that you have joined us this holiday!

I hope that you enjoyed reading through the Tourism NZ and learning more about New Zealand. I found it very interesting to read about the cultural mix in New Zealand and to learn that approximately 69% of kiwis are of European descent. Not all are from Canada but some of us are! In fact, I have met about 10 people who now live in New Zealand but were born and raised in Canada.

I think that a lot of Canadians move to New Zealand because it is such a beautiful country and it is quite similar in geography, political orientation, and cultural values to Canada. I moved here from Vancouver (Canada) in 2010 and I plan to stay forever. I love it here!

Do you plan to live in New Zealand for your entire life?

I hope that you will continue to learn about New Zealand over the next two weeks as part of the Winter Learning Journey programme. There are 20 other activities available for you to choose from!

Hope to see you online blogging again soon :)
